There is but one character, he is played by Dominique PINON.
The Character: He is 30 to 45 years of age and very thin. He is wearing only shorts without pockets and a T-shirt of the same whitish colour as the surrounding walls. He addresses an unseen audience, looking directly at the camera. His monologue sometimes becomes vehement and bitter. This character simply represents a spokesman , a mouthpiece of what is or should be, the conscience of the world faced with the scandal of hunger and malnutrition. His aim is to educate, motivate and provoke those who listen.
The set: A white cube, about 3 meters square, forms walls and ceiling – a continuous
surface with no door or visible entrance, empty except for a three-legged stool and a thick, black felt pen.
The film never stops on the «face that talks» on the contrary it moves incessantly. Extracts from films are projected on the walls and the cameras are always in movement.
The character moves about in an agitated manner, writing and drawing on the walls around him.
